Government of the Punjab is offering free of cost education to its citizens through School Education Department, Special Education Department, Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education Department, Punjab Education Foundation, Punjab Education Initiative Management Authority, Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence, and number of scholarships/stipends and subsidies are offered for the unprivileged willing to seek education.
