Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) was established through an ordinance in 1999 which was later on replaced by an act in 2010. The Authority has been engaged in providing diplomas in technical education and vocational trainings. The courses are offered in a vast array of areas which are currently in demand so the participants can earn their living after graduating. The key focus areas include agriculture, ceramics, wood, leather, mechanical and textile. The Authority is also engaged in providing on-job trainings through its apprentice program.
